While you were out

My mom went to Texas with my sister Camille. She will be back Sunday. While she is gone Russ wanted to paint the kitchen/family room. Happy Mother's Day! The color we chose was Classic Taupe from Behr, the same as the living room and hall. Russ wanted to go a little darker but I am worried about that. I may go 2 shades darker on the wall with the arched window. Russ also wanted to update the trim but I am not sure we will have time to tackle that one yet. This ought to be an interesting weekend!

Mom was very surprised and can't believe that we did it in one day. We were happy with her response. She cried, she shouted with joy, she smiled. What a great day. Thanks everyone for your help and or support.
