We're Baaaack

Finally we are now cured from our infectious computer disease. Here is what the tech had to say:

Inside of computer was extremely dirty, took a long time to clean out, repaired file corruption in hard drive, scanned for viruses, found and removed Trojan.downloader, Trojan.popmarketing, Trojan vundo, Trojan virtumonde, Trojan metajaun, Trojan spy.lyndra, scanned for adware, spyware, malware and found over 600 infections. Had Mywebserach, Agent BN, PC Privacy, UC Search, Rogue Antispyware, IE plugin, Trojan agent, adlogixbrowser hijacker........

Do you want me to continue? This is what we learned:

1. You actually have to clean out your computer. Who would have thunk it. Seriously he told me to turn off the computer, take the cover off and vacuum it at least once a year!
2. Stop Sign is not an actual or effective anti-virus. We think we got totally scammed. Computerwise recommended using Norton Anti-Virus and keep it updated and run it daily if possible.
3. Run an adware scanner daily. I have always loved Ad-Aware you can get a free version you just have to run for updates manually or you can buy it.
4. Run a spyware scanner like Spyware Doctor.
